Annual Club Picnic.....great friends, great food and great flying equals A GREAT PICNIC

To all Kishwaukee RC Flyers and our neighbors and friends....

Well the day started off overcast but in the low 70's so not so bad temperature wise....

Fliers got out early and soon found they had to stay 'a bit' closer in if they didn't wish to lose their aircraft in the fog/clouds....

Soon we had guests arriving, and by the time lunch was served at noon we had 44 individuals chomping at the bit for 1/2 pound pub burgers and delicious jumbo dogs.

There were lots of dishes to pass brought by everyone and the soda and water flew out of the iced coolers.

After lunch the sun broke out of the clouds and THEN IT GOT HOT....with little, if any, breeze for relief.

But the fliers kept flying and all had a great time the last guy locked the gate at the road and drove off into the sunset.

Many thanks go out to Chef Al for taking on grill duties today, with the help of Steve H and yours truly.

Thanks also to those who brought dishes to pass and to those who helped set up and clean up.

WITH THIS LEVEL OF PARTICIPATION THE KISHWAUKEE RC FLYERS WILL CONTINUE TO ENJOY MANY MORE YEARS OF FLYING AT NELSON FIELD

Another summer is drawing to a close, as Labor Day is just around the bend in a week......so while we still have the chance make sure to get out and FLY, FLY, FLY!
